Grow Shiitake, Lion's Mane, and Reishi mushrooms! Traditional low-tech cultivation of these mushrooms is in hardwood logs (oak or maple or sweetgum logs support strong growth). Shiitake requires management after inoculating and allowing the spawn to colonize the logs. Lion's mane and reishi logs can be placed on the ground and mulched to retain moisture.
