Mushroom Grow Kits

Grow Shiitake, Lion's Mane, and Reishi mushrooms! Traditional low-tech cultivation of these mushrooms is in hardwood logs (oak or maple or sweetgum logs support strong growth). Shiitake requires management after inoculating and allowing the spawn to colonize the logs. Lion's mane and reishi logs can be placed on the ground and mulched to retain moisture. What's included: 10-12 hardwood logs. 100 spawn plugs of each species, tub of mushroom spawn sealing wax, 12 aluminum write-on labels, instructions for spawn use.
